Scheduling and Project Planning (ADM III)
This course deals with the mathematical foundations for scheduling projects in scenarios with different degrees of available information. The methods needed come from several mathematical fields including combinatorial optimization, probability theory, robust optimization, and algorithmic game theory.
In order to follow the course, a profound knowledge of combinatorial optimization and a basic knowledge of probability theory is required.
Lectures will be in English.
Scanned course notes and other material from an earlier course are available here [1]. The current material is available here [2].
Literature
